Attendu le 04 juillet au Sénégal, Abdoulaye Wade va mener sa première campagne dans le département de Mbacké, un de ses fiefs politiques où il compte plusieurs militants et sympathisants.
Pour rappel l’opposition avait largement remporté le département de Mbacké durant les élections du referendum en mars 2016 en votant le non. En outre le pape du Sopi avait raflé la mise dans ce lieu lors des dernières présidentielles en 2012.
Un atout de taille pour la coalition gagnante wattu sénégaal de débuter par la commune de Mbacké et faire un clin d’oeil à la ville sainte de Touba. Si l’on sait qu’il est interdit de battre campagne dans la commune de Touba.
