Un scandale sur plusieurs attributions de terrains à Yoff, Diamalaye et Almadies frappe la Direction des domaines. Selon les informations de Libération, le contrôleur des Impôts et Domaines Babacar Dia a été cueilli par la Sûreté urbaine de Dakar, dans le cadre d’une rocambolesque affaire de faux.
Des centaines de millions sont en cause. Dia volait les fonds de dossiers des vrais propriétaires, imitait la signature du directeur des domaines, Mame Boye Diao, et scannait son cachet, avant d’attribuer des terrains à son prête-nom Ndèye Penda Niang, contre paiement, pas moins de 20 terrains sis à Yoff, à Diamalaye et aux Almadies. Les parcelles étaient vendues entre 30 et 50 millions de Fcfa.
