Dans la nuit du mardi au mercredi, un incendie s’est déclaré dans la zone de la Franche industrielle à Mbao, ravageant quelques usines. C’est seulement ce matin que le feu a pu être maîtrisé par les soldats du feu, déployés en nombre sur les lieux. Ndéye Séne (alias Mére Dial), connue dans la série « Mayacine ak Dial », s’est rendue sur les lieux, avec de la nourriture, pour venir en aide aux sapeurs pompiers et travailleurs des usines, qui ont passé toute la nuit à lutter contre les flammes.
